Drinking and driving

ERIN – On Jan. 28 at about 7:30pm, É«¿Ø´«Ã½County OPP officers attended the scene of a single-vehicle collision on Main Street here.

A 66-year-old man from Caledon village was charged with driving while impaired by alcohol and drugs and driving with more than 80mg of alcohol per 100ml of blood in his system.

He is to appear in Guelph court on Feb. 11.

In the above incident the driver’s licence was suspended for 90 days and the vehicle impounded for seven days.
