FERGUS – A pedestrian remains in life-threatening condition after being hit by a transport truck at a busy Fergus intersection on Wednesday evening.
Emergency crews responded to the corner of Belsyde Avenue and Tower Street South (Highway 6) on March 5 at about 5:30pm.
É«¿Ø´«Ã½County OPP officials say a pedestrian was “struck at the intersection by a tractor-trailer.”
“The pedestrian is still at a trauma centre being assessed,” police stated the next morning, adding the person’s injuries are “still being reported to be life-threatening.”
