GUELPH – A Guelph man faces attempted murder and other charges following a disturbance last Thursday morning at a Guelph home.
Just before 7am on Dec. 12, a passerby reported an injured male walking along Arthur Street South. Guelph Police say an officer located the injured male at ɫشýStreet East and Neeve Street.
“Further investigation led officers to a nearby home, where they observed signs of a struggle and found a second male suffering from injuries to his head and face,” police stated in a press release.
“He was transported to hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.”
A 27-year-old Guelph man was charged with attempted murder, aggravated assault, robbery and breaking into a residence to commit an indictable offence. He was held for a bail hearing on Dec. 17.
Police say the men involved know each other and “this was a targeted incident.”
